R&B Releases SplitWorks 2009 SP0
Petah Tikva, Israel:March, 2009 R&B (a SOLIDWORKS Gold Partner), developer of the computer-aided mold design (CAMD) technology used by more than 1,500 customers around the world, announces the release ofSplitWorks 2009 SP0 which includes new functionality as well as a performance boost of over 10 fold in some of the functionality.
New Functionality
– Island Analysis
Preview of disjointed sets of faces within aSplitWorks Feature Manager group folder facilitating the creation of knitted surfaces. The system allows you to browse through the different sets, select the faces in order to move them with to other folders.
– Clear Data
New menu to clean the SplitWorks data (color coding and Feature Tree) from the part.
– Min. Silhouette Angle
Finds the minimum angle for all faces in the both sides dialogue area to be classified as core or cavity without having to define a large initial silhouette angle.
– Performance Enhancement
SplitWorks now updates the color coding, parting line and directional data almost instantaneously after SOLIDWORKS (or SplitWorks) menu activation.
Availability
SplitWorks 2009 is available immediately to all current subscription service customers.
